Editor’s Note, 12/2020: A Glimpse Beyond
With the year coming to an end, we find ourselves looking beyond, towards the unknowns and possibilities of 2021. We’re feeling ready, and grateful for the growth, recentering and community that carried us through the unusual circumstances of 2020.
This post features photographs selected by Ivan Tan as some of his favourite shots at Figment homes this year.

This year, we saw our homes taking on new functions as the primary work and social spaces for our members. We worked hard to support them through the transition to remote work and extended home time. We also welcomed new residents while bidding farewell to others as many made sometimes unexpected but pivotal decisions and changes to their living arrangements.

It doesn’t feel like an understatement to say we also fell in love all over again with our homes and their colourful neighbourhoods. Whether gaining a new workout routine or checking out the local spots, our members found lots to explore in Jalan Besar, Tanjong Pagar, Balestier and Emerald Hill.
