Most definitely. We think you'd figure out a nice arrangement with your housemates if they would also like to work there.

We’ll give you a call within the next business day for us to get to know you better. If you’re local to the area, you can go for an in-person tour, or if you’re remote, we can tour with you virtually. At that time, you can reserve the space by e-signing your lease and transferring the security deposit.
The term short term rental describes a fully-furnished self-contained apartment that is rented out for a short period of time, say 3-months or 6-months. Short term stay options tend to be convenient to book, comfortably furnished, and allow you to experience living like a local in charming residential neighborhoods.
Short Term Rentals are often prized for their affordable rentals, fully-furnished convenience and added opportunity to authentically live like a local in a residential neighbourhood in the heart of Singapore.
Under the local Guidelines, residential properties are not allowed to be used for short-term accommodation – defined as stays of less than 3-months. This is so as to protect the interests of residents who live in the same estate, so that their quality of life is not compromised by the disruptive coming-and-going of short term visitors.
Local guidelines preclude Airbnb’s legal operations in Singapore for stays shorter than 3 months. But while it is technically illegal, that hasn’t stopped some from listing their property on the online platform, nor has it fully deterred people from booking them in turn. Just bear in mind its risky status if you do consider booking on Airbnb or similar short term apartment rental platforms.
For private properties, such as condominiums and landed houses, the minimum rental period is 3 months. For public housing, which are known HDB flats, the minimum rental period is 6 months.
Figment provides plenty of affordable short rentals starting from $1,500 monthly. However, if you are looking for the cheapest short stays under $1,500 in Singapore, here are some good places to start.

Usually, the quality and number of amenities and options should improve as you move further East. Make sure to do some price research on the area in question on URA’s website so you don’t get ripped off. You might also want to use a property agent to help with your search.
According to the Council for Estate Agencies, to rent property in Singapore, you need to be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident. Non-citizens may rent if they hold an employment or work permit like an S-pass, a student pass, dependent pass or long term social visit pass. That said, even with foreigners holding legal residence, the problem is that most Singapore landlords may not be too pleased with short term leases and would typically require at least a 1 or 2 year contract. Figment provides a much-needed, flexible alternative for short stays with flexible lease terms and a 1-month notice period.
