Hey Future Figment Family Member!

Ever dreamt of running the financial engine behind Singapore’s most beautiful heritage homes? Well, we did — and we’re Figment, the rebels of hospitality, making the world a more human place to live.

Our boutique hotel-inspired homes have been called the “Picassos of Singapore’s Built Heritage” by Travel + Leisure, with features in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Straits Times, and Channel NewsAsia. Over the past 35 years, we’ve welcomed more than 4,000 members from companies like Grab, BCG, and Citi.

What Makes This Role Different

  • You own the numbers. Every dollar in and out across the Figment portfolio runs through you. The CEO makes capital, deal, and growth decisions off the picture you build — so your accuracy is the company’s confidence.
  • Accelerated growth. You’ll take on real responsibility from day one in a hands-on, scrappy environment. As we expand the portfolio, you grow with us — clear progression and an ESOP / phantom-equity allocation on top of a 13th-month bonus.
  • Global conservation mission. As stewards of Singapore’s architectural heritage, we’re pioneering the boutique homes concept globally — from London townhouses to Spanish Colonial homes in Intramuros, Manila, to colonial bungalows across India. The financial discipline you build here is what funds and protects irreplaceable buildings.

Role Purpose

Our ideal candidate will be in charge of all daily property operations to guarantee that our members enjoy an outstanding experience. They are responsible for all boutique home services, such as member relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, revenue management, expense management, team building, and employee development. This position requires a flexible and dynamic problem solver with exceptional leadership abilities who can empower staff to give superior customer service to members, associates, and visitors. They act as brand ambassadors, providing leadership and strategic direction to all departments of the company.

What You Will Own

  • Leadership & Strategy (25%)
    • Define and execute the overall business strategy for the property/portfolio aligned with company objectives
    • Lead, inspire, and develop cross-functional teams across operations, sales, and back of house departments.
    • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability across departments
    • Build a high-performance culture focused on service excellence and ownership
  • Operations & Quality Excellence (20%)
    • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure seamless resident experience
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and facilities management
    • Implement SOPs to ensure consistency across all touchpoints
    • Conduct regular audits of units, common areas, and service delivery
  • Community & Member Experience (10%)
    • Design and drive community engagement strategy to enhance resident satisfaction and retention
    • Monitor and improve member lifecycle
    • Actively manage feedback loops (reviews, NPS, complaints) and drive improvements
  • Financial & Commercial Management (20%)
    • Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control with focus on the EBITDA.
    • Optimize revenue through pricing strategy, occupancy management, and unit mix
    • Balance cost efficiency with maintaining a premium member experience
    • Identify and execute revenue growth opportunities
  • Sales, Marketing & Growth (10%)
    • Lead Sales and Marketing strategy to achieve occupancy and EBITDA targets
    • Oversee marketing initiatives to attract target demographics
    • Continuously refine positioning and brand within the Singapore market
  • Data & Performance Management (15%)
    • Track and optimize key metrics: occupancy rate, revenue per unit, retention, churn
    • Use data insights to inform pricing, marketing, and operational decisions
    • Establish reporting systems and dashboards for performance visibility

What We Are Looking For

  • 5 or more years of hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel management role.
  • Degree in hospitality or related field of study preferred
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong member-focused mentality
  • Background in the arts or the humanities is a plus

Key Competencies (Top 5)

  • Agency & Initiative: Operates without needing structure handed to them. Navigates ambiguity, identifies the path forward, and drives work to completion. Takes ownership of outcomes rather than acting as a messenger or waiting on others to unblock them. Demonstrates clear evidence of self-directed action, problem-solving through obstacles, and follow-through on shipped artifacts.
  • Integrity & Trust: Tells the truth, especially when it is inconvenient. Surfaces problems early rather than hiding bad news, spinning facts, or playing politics. Prioritises the company’s interest over personal comfort. Can be trusted to make the right call independently, without supervision.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Maintains a high quality bar without requiring management to act as the quality-control layer. Genuinely cares whether the output is good, useful, polished, and complete. Welcomes feedback and iterates on it.
  • Strategic Leadership: The ability to craft a compelling vision, align team objectives with broader company goals, and inspire staff to execute at a high level.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong capability in budget creation, P&L management, and cost control, with the specific ability to maximize profit margins without degrading the member experience.

Nice to Have

  • Boutique hotel, serviced apartment, coliving, or heritage-property operations experience.
  • Familiarity with property management systems and mobile inspection apps.
  • Basic understanding of M&E (mechanical and electrical) systems in older or conserved buildings.
  • Experience training and developing junior housekeeping or maintenance staff.

Operations Housekeeping Supervisor
Singapore
Full-Time (On-Site)
2-4 Years
S$3,000 - S$3,200 Monthly

Location: Singapore (on-site, across the Figment shophouse portfolio)

Job Type: Full-time

Reports to: Operations Lead and General Manager

Compensation: S$3,000 ~ S$3,200 per month

  • On-the-Ground Ownership: You set the bar for what “Figment-clean” looks like across every shophouse. Every member move-in, every viewing, every Club House event reflects your standards.
  • Accelerated Growth: Staff take on significant responsibilities from day one in our hands-on scrappy startup environment. As we aggressively expand our portfolio, you’ll grow alongside us with clear progression paths and potential phantom equity eligibility.
  • Global Conservation Mission: As stewards of Singapore’s architectural heritage, we are pioneering the boutique homes concept globally — from London townhouses to Spanish Colonial homes in Intramuros, Manila, to colonial bungalows across India. Your work directly protects the physical fabric of irreplaceable buildings.

Role Purpose

You will lead Figment’s housekeeping operation across our portfolio of Boutique Homes and the Figment Club House. Your job is to keep every house guest-ready at boutique-hotel standard, supervise the housekeeping team and external cleaning vendors, run clean turnovers between move-outs and move-ins, manage supplies and linen inventory, enforce SOPs, and make the cleaning operation faster and sharper every month.

This is a hands-on operating role. We are looking for someone who is detail-obsessed, organised, commercially aware, and precise with follow-up. You should take pride in heritage architecture and boutique-hotel-grade presentation, but you should also be comfortable with rosters, checklists, vendor management, mobile inspection tools, and firm conversations with your team and contractors.

What You Will Own

  • Lead the housekeeping team across all Figment shophouses, including rosters, training, and daily supervision.
  • Run every member move-in and move-out turnover: linen, towels, household essentials, and a spotless studio on the date promised.
  • Conduct daily and weekly inspections of studios, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas; coach the team to fix issues on the spot.
  • Maintain Figment housekeeping SOPs for studios, common areas, and external building façades.
  • Manage cleaning supplies, linen, and consumables inventory across the portfolio; track par stocks and reorder before shortages hit.
  • Liaise with approved vendors for laundry, pest control, and specialist deep cleans; hold them to agreed standards.
  • Spot wear-and-tear, damage, plumbing, and electrical issues; escalate to Maintenance before members notice.
  • Partner with Operations on member move-ins, viewings, and Club House events.
  • Run housekeeping training, SOP refreshes, and weekly housekeeping huddles.
  • Use AI and mobile tools to improve checklists, inspection records, vendor reporting, and incident logs.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2-4 years in housekeeping, room operations, or facilities in a hotel, serviced apartment, boutique coliving, or premium hospitality environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Experience owning measurable standards and audit scores, not just participating in a cleaning rota.
  • Strong comfort with rosters, checklists, inventory tracking, and basic spreadsheet reports.
  • Daily use of mobile tools-  WhatsApp, scheduling apps, photo-based inspection apps- and ideally AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for SOP drafting and message templates.
  • Commercial assertiveness: you can hold the team to standard, push back on weak vendor performance, and have firm conversations while staying professional.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; conversational Mandarin or Malay is a plus given our team and vendor mix.
  • Comfortable moving between properties in central Singapore on your feet daily.

Key Competencies (Top 5)

  • Attention to Detail: you notice the smudge on the mirror, the linen folded the wrong way, the dust on the cornice-  and you fix it before a member ever sees it.
  • Operational Discipline: you live by SOPs, checklists and audit trails-  and you build them where they don’t yet exist.
  • People Leadership: you can roster, motivate, train, and coach a small team, including holding firm conversations on under-performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: you coordinate cleanly with the Operations team.
  • Problem-Solving: heritage buildings throw curveballs- leaks, pests, finicky finishes. You triage calmly, escalate the right things, and keep operations moving.

Nice to Have

  • Boutique hotel, serviced apartment, coliving, or heritage-property housekeeping experience.
  • Experience managing third-party cleaning, laundry, and pest-control vendors.
  • Familiarity with property management systems and mobile inspection apps.
  • Experience training and developing junior housekeeping staff.

Why This Role Matters

Figment is a premium product. We do not want a “just-clean-it” housekeeper. We want someone who can hold heritage-shophouse housekeeping to boutique-hotel standards, protect the physical fabric of irreplaceable buildings, lead a team, and run the cleaning operation with discipline.

If you like fast-moving operating environments, clear standards, and direct responsibility for what members see and feel every day, this role is for you.
