House Natalia is the Case Study home of local contemporary weaver, Natalia Tan. Informed by the artist’s social practice, House Natalia showcases a selection of community woven artworks created out of salvaged materials, from vintage Japanese silk to alpaca and cashmere wool.
Entering the home, you find an open-concept common space and dining area that is adorned with Natalia’s intricate weaves and an unmissable Arthur P.Y. Ting piece. On this first floor, you will find our first Studio room that has beautiful windows that allow you to peek into the downstairs kitchen. At the back of the house is a fully furnished kitchen, with an attached backyard, that leads to two stairwells; one leading up to the two upstairs Studios and the rooftop, and another leading to the three Rooms in the basement.
About the Neighbourhood

The neighbourhood is home to many preserved architectural heritage sites, is a stone’s throw away from well-stocked i12 Katong Mall (pronounced ‘I want to Katong’), and some of the country’s most mouth-watering foodie destinations.
